32.The coachingand or playing ability is based on how
great of a player you keep telling others you are or were –Stop it, shut up, and do it
Right!
If you are a coach, it’s about them, not you!(being a good player has very little to do with being a good coach).
If you are a
good player,Please also be a good
human being!
33.You
demonstrate or teach very poor beach volleyball etiquette –
When you’re not playing in a ‘serious’ tournament or
specifically training against better competition:
PLEASE - DO NOT hit or set the ball over the net on purpose
on the 2nd hit
when you are receiving serve when you could have easily set the ball.
PLEASE - DO NOT serve and or pick-on the weaker opponent
repeatedly -Stop it, respect
the game, yourself and your opponents - do it Right! –
If there is not a referee, PLEASE CALL your
violations: when you touch the net, or touch the ball on a block, or lift, carry or throw a set or
dig and also when you foot fault or make any other ‘illegal’ play
If you have a question about what happened on a play or if
whether the ball landed in or out – don’t argue about the play -REPLAY THE PLAY!
This is
why:
·If you are better than the other team, you’ll win
whether or not you play like a jerk!
·If you are not better than the other team, become a better player
through practice and training rather than by using cheap tactics and taking advantage of
beginners or recreational players.
Becoming a better player
and a better human being is WAY MORE IMPORTANT than a cheap win.
Be both the very best beach volleyball player you can be
and a great human being!
